We use the cold-process method for making soap. This basically means that aside from heating up the fats in order to liquefy them we do not heat the soap mixture otherwise. Once the fats are liquefied and they reach the same temperature as the lye-water solution we pour the lye-water mixture into them and stir the two until they have reached a trace (the mixture has thickened and the chemical reaction has occurred; also known as saponification. After this we add any herbs for coloring and the essential oils and pour the soap into the molds. We let the soap cure after removing it from the molds for approximately 4-6 weeks. We then hand cut the soap into a 4-4.5 ounce bar.
Earth Worker: This is a great soap for gardeners or anyone getting their hands dirty. It is made with Tea Tree oil for cleansing and anti-bacterial purposes and the fresh scent of grapefruit. It contains poppy seeds for extra scrubbing and avocado oil for extra moisture for the hands.
Remember to Recycle: This soap is lightly scented with essential oils of rosemary and Lime and is refreshing in the shower or in the kitchen.
Love Your Mother : This soap is balancing in nature and great for new moms; although one of my husbands favorites! It is scented with essential oils of lavender, Clary sage, and geranium.
Fir Peace Sakes: Not just for the holidays, this pine scented soap reminds me of every hike I’ve taken from the rocky ledges of Acadia National Park to the majestic forests of the Pacific Northwest.
Only Oatmeal: Pure and simple; powdered oatmeal with no added scent for those sensitive to scent. This is great for everyday washing and for those with sensitive skin.
Baby Me: Our newest addition; this soap is for all of those "little feet"! This is made with babies and children in mind, but most adults will enjoy the sheer gentleness of this soap. It is made with lavender essential oil for calming baby, and shea butter and avocado oil for their delicate skin.
